People are STILL asking me, “Cate, how do I lose weight?” Honestly? Weight, to a degree, is irrelevant. What they NEED to be asking me is, “Cate, how can I BURN FAT most efficiently?”

Many people don’t approach weight loss with the goal of actually BURNING FAT. They reach a point where they know they need to make a change. They know they need to lose weight. Rather than beginning a weight lifting regimen, they will try all the fad diets. What it boils down to is either they don’t want to (or don’t think they’re able to) put the work into making lasting changes. How is it there are so many people still confused about the topic of “weight loss?” I know weight loss is not a one size fits all. However, anyone can build lean muscle. And everyone SHOULD!

So, Why #mbf and #mbfa?

Muscle Burns Fat includes TWO back to back programs for the price of one! Each program is just three weeks long. Megan set it up this way so you can really master the moves, remain on track, and gauge your progress. What’s more, when you sign up with me as your Coach, I will help guide you on HOW to proceed beyond the completion of your programs! Not only will I be there with you every step of the way, but our community will help keep you inspired, motivated, and accountable! The tools and knowledge you will receive will be invaluable. You will no longer have to google workout plans and nutrition programs. You won’t have to ask your friends what you should do next, you will KNOW. Nutrition is a key part of all six weeks.

Building muscle takes proper fuel. You will need it to power through your workouts and you will need it to recover properly. If you’re not eating enough you will be tapping into the wrong things – your muscles – to burn energy. If you’re not eating enough, you will also risk INCREASING your cortisol levels. So, following a sound nutrition plan is going to be really important for you! As your Coach, I can help guide you in this area too! You will receive information on BOTH Ultimate Portion Fix and 2B Mindset Programs. After you learn about them, you get to choose which is best for you.

How Are the Workouts Scheduled for #mbf and #mbfa?

This program calendar is simple and straight forward. Strength training: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- this includes asymmetrical moves (meaning you use just one weight instead of two- Megan explains a bit more below). You can expect to do Cardio workouts every Tuesday and Thursday. Don’t worry! It’s not scary and we walk you through everything!

Remember, this isn’t about bulking up. Megan designed these workouts to get you lean and toned for your strongest body ever.

Here’s how:

“I’m including asymmetrical training along with symmetrical training for a reason. When you’re lifting one weight, your body is forced to compensate for the imbalance, which engages your core,” says Megan. “By challenging your body, you’ll burn more calories and get the most out of each workout.”

For the cardio workouts, the emphasis is on fat-burning, so get ready to work. You’ll do AMRAPs (as many rounds as possible) that incorporate the BOD Rope.

Sunday recovery workouts will stretch and revitalize your muscles so you’re rested and ready to start all over again on Monday.

What Equipment Do I Need?

You’ll need light, medium, and heavy dumbbells, and the BOD Rope, the Cordless Indoor Jump Rope. Saturday workouts also feature EMOMs (every minute on the minute) that will push you to give everything you’ve got.

“Progress isn’t always pretty, so get ready to be drenched in sweat and working hard to give me everything, every move. If at the end of three weeks you don’t feel ready to step up to #mbfa, do #mbf again all the way through, and then take on #mbfa,” she adds.
